Poor Rich Sommer, always the bridesmaid.

Even some diehard fans of the cult comedy were worried about the risk of WHAS devolving from a lean, focused film

The Travel Bug episode is perfect to me and has to be one of my all-time favorite podcast episodes. I think it's mostly due to the combination of personalities. I know everyone loves Andy and Paul and Gourley, as do I, but Besser as Pope Benedict - basically any time Besser decides to be German I just adore it.

Everything about this comment - user name, article with which it is associated, and especially comment text - gives me inexpressible joy.

I have such an intense early-90s-in-college-hanging-out-at-the-beach-over-summer-break-constantly-drunk-and/or-stoned association with it that I really have to agree.

Tituss Burgess as the lion is pretty genius.

Between this and Hannibal, I think it's safe to say that NBC does not peacock Scandinavians.

No, it is!

What better way to honor them, other than listening to their music and that’s it?

You know how Hannibal exhibits great calm and self-control until Will does something that makes him sad and he… doesn't react well? That's how I'm starting to feel about the rapidly approaching end of the show. Fortunately my tantrums tend to be somewhat less stabby.

This is not a Sean O'Neal Newswire about James Franco. I ask for so little, AV Club.

I feel like someone needs to question the assertion that Lars is prettier than Mads, so it might as well be me.

I feel like you maybe need to calm down, shall we work on a puzzle together? This one has kittens!

Fuller has said no harm will come to the dogs! I think they're at Alana's, at least theoretically.

"Boy, you are really patting yourself on the back for losing me money."

Not in a million years would Jodie Foster's character in the movie do any of that. I love that movie and her performance and when she declined to participate in Hannibal because of character assassination I decided I had no interest in it or the book it's based on.

I think "Breathe" is a classic U2 song (though the title track, "Moment of Surrender," and "Unknown Caller" are my personal favorites). But I predicted (correctly) that they wouldn't play anything from NLOTH during this tour, and afterwards asked my brother, "Seriously, how do you not do 'Breathe'? Come on!"

By the way, since I know you are a fan, have you seen the show? The screen/walkway setup really was fucking incredible.

Everything's coming up Aukerman at the AV Club today!

These are all good arguments. If they walk away I will follow, but my heart will still ache a little bit. For Thedge.
