I am to please, my good woman.

Maybe, maybe not. It's not like we got to judge the dude's acting ability from his three seconds of screen time in season one.
Highly doubt it. Mance is a decent judge of character, and a very honorable guy, if nothing else. He undoubtedly knows exactly what Ramsey is.
I really hope I'm wrong. Because, in spite of all those scenes I listed, the Inn with the Hound and Polliver and The Tickler and their squire? An incredible moment of catharsis, and honestly I simply can not imagine not doing some version of it. The Hound talking Arya through finishing the squire? Heartbreaking.
I wouldn't think a man named Grimace would be such a grumpy fellow.
My thought as well; perhaps Ramsey thinks that the small Umber force banging drums and blowing horns outside of Winterfell is Stannis and his army, so maybe Ramsey doesn't even know that he is full of shit.
Upon further reflection re: The Tickler and "IS (stab) THERE (stab) GOLD (stab) IN (stab) THE (stab) VILLAGE (stab stab stab)"…
Just so we're clear:
I'm just pleased the Brotherhood got namechecked in The Tickler's questioning. I was afraid they were somehow going to get excised totally, until Stoneheart.
Agreed. She was quite a find for the show; I'm interested to see if she can pull of some of Brienne's quieter moments in book four.
@avclub-d980b15d49101608dc407770f35b1d75:disqus Have we seen the bear on the show yet? That seems to be something that could easily be eliminated, at least for now, and then bring back for Brienne & Jaime later on (or just have them fight a pair of random jackholes).
Ahhh, yes. I remember now, thank you.
@avclub-001d507e80c4e4d2ce4ba0a5590f8313:disqus No, unless I've very much mistaken, she straight up stabbed that motherfucker, both in the book and on the show. He grabs her arm, she spins around with Needle in her other arm and stabs him right in his piggy guts.
While I don't disagree, I ain't holding my breath on either count. I could easily see Jaime losing his hand to, say, a Karstark, or a Bolton.
They'll have to find something for Davos to do then, unless he is sent into the Lands Of Always Winter.
@twitter-18093269:disqus Nope, it made it. When I complained about The Tickler, my wife suggested that maybe they can't show kids murdering people on TV, and I pointed out she killed the stableboy in King's Landing.
He does figure in Bran's ocean dream, so yeah, he's late, at the very least.
Gotta disagree. My wife hasn't read the books, and only sees the episodes in bits and pieces, and she was cracking up every time Edd opened his mouth.
Quaithe's mask wasn't how I pictured it, but I didn't find it objectionable in any way.
Definitely Winterfell, hence the reference to Bran's ocean dream.
