Not sure that it matters; if he alternative timeline split off from a catastrophic event at the Swan site in 1977, I think it will resorb under the same circumstances in 2004.

I would agree that it was moving to see Jack own and overcome his daddy issues. However, it'll lose some luster if the Island Jack doesn't come to the same conclusions.
With Sawyer and UnLocke, maybe not—I'm not convinced that Sawyer is truly with UnLocke. But Sayid will definitely be joining Claire and UnLocke. Poor Miles is still at the Temple, too.
I'm not throwing in the towel yet, not by a long shot.
Have another drinky-drinky, Capt. Frank. I'm sure Sawyer's still got a stash somewhere.
Not really digging de Ravin…
…as the new Rousseau-ified Claire. I like the concept, but I just don't think the actress is pulling it off so far.
Yup, that's really her.
Perhaps he didn't assign those numbers until after he determined whether or not someone was a viable candidate? IE, "I've got Dogan on here, but he's more of a 73, so I'll put that up there are cross him out."
Unless Jughead caused a divergence even earlier than 1977, or somehow altered the rules so that the things the Island 7 did in even earlier time periods changed things further.
They may not have been concerned for his safety, but rather his becoming a pawn of Smokey.
Shit no, Sheltie. I smell spin-off. Write a pilot, and send it to ABC, posthaste.
Damn, good catch, Forzod. Although Locke wasn't amongst the O6, so it doesn't quite fit. I think it's workable, though.
Definitely thought he was Lil' Jacob. Like your theory/explanation a lot.
Since Dogen is (apparently) still alive and crossed out, maybe you needn't die to be eliminated. Maybe you just… fail a test?
It appears he's teaching at his old school. And teaching science, nonetheless. His old counselor was right. His old counselor was actually Jacob! Or Esau. Or maybe Vincent. Who can tell?
I also saw a "Dogen" on the ceiling, but didn't catch the number.
Best episode since The Life and Death of Jeremy Bentham
So how did Locke end up in the wheelchair? Helen wouldn't have suggested inviting him to the wedding if the story were the same here.
Amen.
This episode was shit. Hopefully, it will be the last ever Kate episode, and thusly the last ever episode that can achieve this level of shittiness (SiaSL being the exception to the Kate-shit rule).
You get that thing I sent ya?
