I was pretty put off by the whole Aunt Tomei thing, but someone recently pointed out that it was a bit strange for Peter Parker's aunt to be five-hundred years old. She might be unrealistically hot, but she's not unrealistically old at 51 to be the aunt of a guy who's probably around 20.
