This was a pretty good book, but a bit slight to earn an A.  I know that it's a little silly to quibble about grades, but I do think that an A should be reserved for something a bit more exceptional.  Will this book be on a lot of best-of-2012 lists?  I doubt it, but maybe that's just me.

Speaking of Bale, his Bruce Wayne this time around looked about right for the part of frail shut-in, not so believable as a muscled-up Batman.  When I think of Batman, the word "gaunt" never really enters my mind.
