I used to think that The Incredibles was pretty Randian, but I've come around on that. In some ways, it's almost the opposite: the characters are altruistic and exceptional, and its villain sought profit through spreading mediocrity. Also, how could such an awesome movie have anything to do with such a stupid

If my chauffeur is indisposed and I'm forced to drive myself, I prefer to drive either my diamond-studded Hummer or one of my decommissioned space shuttles.

The good parts were the problem
The problem with the parts that were funny is that they only served to remind me how much better this show can be. Were there any major changes in the writer's room? To say they're going through the motions is putting it mildly.

You guys may not have been creepy THEN, but you're sure being creepy NOW. Also, she was never that hot. Too bland to be genuinely sexy…but then again, I've been an adult for her entire career.

Serious, Burl is a lighthearted and gentle soul who reminds us all to laugh and love. I pretty much agree with Genevieve's review as well as Niall's opinions. It's a very mixed bag, with some great stuff and some very hackneyed stuff side-by-side. Occasionally spectacular and brilliant but often very boring and trite.

Fuck snarf in his snarfhole.

The Rod of Righteous Disgust? I didn't know anyone else called theirs that.

Archmage, thanks for weighing in. You really owe it to yourself to see this episode, even if you don't watch Community. For old school D&Ders, this was like pair of Gauntlets of Ogre Power mixed with a Girdle of (Storm) Giant Strength, wielding a Hammer of Thunderbolts. If that isn't enough to motivate you, then

I disagree with everyone.
