Well, if we're already almost to 1500 and eight years into Alexander's papacy, then maybe we only need one more season to wrap up the series anyway. Alexander only has three years left before his final confession. I surely hope Showtime gives them a fourth season (and Neil Jordan agrees to do it). A two-hour farewell

I challenge your chronology. How did MacFarlane START from a point of being a reviled figure?

Fuck, I just double-checked my database. I only watched 38.42 minutes of the show. You're right, I am a failure as an accountant!

Trust me, Archmage, it is dead on. DEAD ON.

In my life, I have only watched 38.5 minutes of The Cleveland Show. Now you might think I would add a comment that shits on the show, but no, I am merely saying that the show is shit. At the same time, I am also happy that the show employed many creative professionals during its run. Yay for animation. Yay for shit.

That's as plausible an explanation as anyone has provided. But eh, I still think it's a huge stretch. But again, I'm not holding it against them. It's not the most fucked-up crazy crap that ANY show has EVER done, and the way you posited a decent theory, I'll sleep well tonight.

Thanks for the info. Still not great, but what can you do? At this point, I think I would be happy if NBC cancelled the show because I just can't imagine a show of this quality would not be eagerly picked up by a cable network. Even then, NBC deserves praise for giving it a shot and making it possible for networks to

@DickChasey:disqus But did you or any of your gay friends every have an intense fear about talking to women? Someone upthread said it doesn't make sense that if Raj was gay that Raj would be so afraid of talking to women, and that made sense to me.

Just a terrible, awful lead-in to Hannibal. Does anyone know what show is going to replace The Office in the time slot before Hannibal? I'd google it to find out, but I'm sure anything would be better than The Office so I'm just happy for that.

@avclub-97d6c074b974838257db17a02f8784c4:disqus Rest assured, you are not off base. If we're to believe the actual time passage of Will going outside for his hallucination, the double murder of the policemen was the most absurd thing the series has ever done. And none of the explanations provided in replies to you

Ah, went to the third comments page to see if anyone else had the same "the dogs don't hear the sounds in the chimney" thoughts that I did. And I was justly rewarded.  And I didn't steal your thunder upthread!

mmm, love me some succulent bread pudding.

Yes, I watch Hannibal live and then Elementary on demand. But I wouldn't miss an episode of either one.

The Crazy Ones is the only comedy of the four that I have much interest in. The preview shows some of the most comedic moments, but we know Williams and Gellar are capable of much more. Sure, it's a joke-fest and improv, but surely everything won't be played for laughs. And even if it is, perhaps it will be so good

That's not one of the shows I came away looking forward to. It looks like a very base comedy, though I will admit the cast is pretty solid. I'll check in with the premier, but I'll have an itchy finger to check out.

@avclub-85d8ce590ad8981ca2c8286f79f59954:disqus In retrospect, I regret my harsh words, but think about it from the perspective of a fan of The New Girl. We get this notification and read a three-page article and look forward to discussing it with other fans, and the first thing we encounter is someone complaining

That is exactly what I hate about it. Hence my two rants upthread. Good god, Justified fans, get a life and figure out how to manage your social media and navigate a fucking site. In other words, you asked for it, you fucking got it.

So sick of edgu-kating the morons who don't understand notifications. If you don't like the way AV does it, write your senator a letter. No, really, that will fix your problem.

Excuse me, just interrupting the thread because a Justified fan dared to post a firstie. C'mon, @avclub-85d8ce590ad8981ca2c8286f79f59954:disqus did you really need to do that? GTFO.

Don't think I don't shop at Hot Topic. Don't think it.
