Yeah, Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin are on Parsons' level, but there's a drop off after them. Point taken though…they are all well paid.

They didn't get paid like Jim Parsons gets paid, I promise you that.

I probably read 20 times more reviews than I bother to comment on, and about 10 times more than I bother to grade. I also sometimes read reviews of shows I haven't watched just to satisfy my curiosity.

Have they used "…you're driving a lemon" in its most lurid sense yet?

And they still have unaired episodes in the can, too. Tragic.

There's still a lotta cliffhangers to be played out in season five. Like, will Sarah reunite with Hank in Minnesota, join a gourmet coffee club and settle for Skyping with Drew while he's at UC Berkeley? Will Crosby and Jasmine's kid be afflicted some tragic birth defect or (shudder) turn out to be more white than

You are dead right on this Nathan. And thus we maintain the tragedy of shows cancelled despite their evident genius.

As a boring American, it seemed a bit obscure to me while Punch recited it. So I still managed to find it thoroughly delightful. So yes, you're right that it gained something by crossing the Atlantic.

"The exchange isn’t exactly an earth-shattering, “Luke, I am your father” revelation, but it turns out to be something of a narrative decongestant for White Collar."

Yeah, I don't quite get the D rating. Been following this show every week and this seemed like one of Mindy Kalin's better performances. The elevator scenes alone were worthy of a B, at least.

In the same sense, it seemed like an episode of "I Love Lucy" in the way it just took an improbable premise and escalated it to its most ridiculous conclusion (yes, I am really dating myself with this reference).

Another example of Raising Hope's ability to turn the weirdest and most off-the-rails plot into the most affecting and insightful observations on our personal life pathways. We all want to be accepted for who we are, and when we find somebody willing to buy into that (Frank), it makes it easier to for us to rejoice in

To borrow from Deb Morgan, jesus fuckslobber, you don't fuckin' like this fuckin' show, do ya Scott? Is it formulaic? Yes. Is it cartoonish? Yes. But it's the best formulaic cartoon action drama on TV. And I really enjoyed how this season finale packed so much action into two hours. There were some pretty tense

Great point in that last para, Cutlass. Surely we have not seen the last of Estrada and he will return next week to cause more trouble for Dexter. It would be another egregious logic faux pas to have him just disappear without a trace (as long as he could swim).

I agree with everything you guys said that goes toward disproving that Estrada was in cahoots with LaGuerta from the get go. But I think we also know that doesn't disprove the writers (accustomed to gaping plot and logic holes) intended to drop hints that Estrada was playing along to trap Dexter.

TVDW says "I’m not sure I completely buy the part where he puts his hand on her face and says that when it was between her and Walden, the choice wasn’t even close…. that one line is the moment in the back half of the episode that rings false for me."
