Kids, your mother was inside me all my life, it just took the courage and an operation to let her out.

Absolutely, where the heck is that on this list? One of the best theme tunes of all time, and which has evolved a heck of a lot more than, say, The Simpsons (although I love that one too).
Apparently his brother is a Scientologist too, so they probably were in it from birth. But I don't know how anyone could get involved nowadays. I know the Church of Scientology suppress the truth from their members, have filters for their internet to stop them finding out anything negative, deny any reference to…
I did wonder about that. And Eddie Murphy can be very funny, although you wouldn't get that from any of his movies for the last ten years.
Like.
There really does seem to be an unfortunate amount of antipathy between the two characters. The problem is that a sitcom relies on conflict. Whereas Phil has his entire family to react against, and even Jay has Manny and Phil to react against quite often, Cam and Mitchell's stories tend to involve them reacting…
If you want to experiment in basic ways, play a C major chord (C, E and G) where C is your tonic (the title note of the chord), G is the dominant (the 5th, which defines C as the tonic in this chord) and E is the mediant (the 3rd). Now, instead of E, play E flat. You'll hear that it's the E/Eflat which defines whether…
I like Jon Benjamin, but that show did almost nothing for me. Little Little Italy wasn't bad, but a lot of every episode relied on people being angry non-sequiturs to each other. If he's lost the van so he can keep the burgers, I'm all in favour.
I much preferred Onion News Network. I think partly because it covered the same kind of silliness but in about 4 minutes instead of 11, then went onto half a dozen more ridiculous items before close.
They didn't actually show it as the joke being on Cam, though. If Mitchell had responded to it then it would have been, but as it stood the racism was the punchline, not the setup.
I didn't find it too problematic, but I can understand people taking offence at it. It wasn't outlandish enough to be playing with the stereotype, and it wasn't commented on to decry to stereotype, so it just sounded like the stereotype.
I'd like to see it covered. It's a good, fun sci-fi series, and it'd be great to see it get due promotion.
It wouldn't have been my first choice for a Dickens musical, and having seen it onstage I'm not convinced it is a natural fit for a stage musical, but I adore the film. In the film, the music always serves the plot, even big fun numbers like Consider Yourself and Oom Pah Pah, because everything leads onto the next…
Absolutely. The plot flows effortlessly through the musical numbers. I'd add to the double use of Oom Pah Pah the twist the end of the (spectacular) Who Will Buy, where it cuts down to Sykes and Dodger. Just a beautiful piecing together of the different elements.
I'm disappointed that everyone's missed what is perhaps the best film adaptation of any stage musical: Oliver!. If Les Mis has anything to live up to, it's that masterpiece. It's a film that defined the characters forever (No matter who you have playing Fagin, it won't be Ron Moody. Sykes, Nancy, Dodger, everyone, all…
The thing is, they can't just repeat seasons 1,2 or 3, even the format. Quite aside from keeping it fresh, don't forget that most of the storylines were wrapped up, many irretrievably so. They can't pick up the same dynamics and run with the same sort of stories they would have gone with had the show not been…
