I'm actually kind of amazed that there is no video of it out there, since it did happen on live TV, but then again, VCRs were not common at all in 1974. If it had happened even a couple years later, it's likely that at least a few people would have been recording the episode.

Easter Beagle is definitely not one of the better Peanuts specials, if only for that subplot where Marcie keeps treating eggs like they're alien creations, but it does feature one of my favorite gags, when the gang goes into a store to get Easter stuff only to find it's already decked out for Christmas.

Wow. Being the lead contestant on this show seems like a good way to ensure that your family never speaks to you again.

I remember figuring out that the mole on the 08 version was the big jolly guy who tried to be friends with everyone but clearly sucked at every game three or four episodes before the end. I can't remember if any of the other contestants picked up on that.
