Megadeth was way inferior to Metallica in every way.

Well, they meant it back then. It was fresh and exciting, while "Load" was nothing more than an attempt to cash in.

He's actually declined through the years. He wasn't bad at first and has steadily gone downhill.

Yeah, not even close. Cliff sometimes gets overlooked but he drove that band on those first three albums. He was a perfectionist and a taskmaster, the de facto "leader" of the band, at least musically.

When Burton died Metallica was finished artistically. He was the engine that drove them. Best musician in the band, lots of influences, the most mature one too. Yes, they got huge after that but musically it was never the same. When KEA was released it was a game-changer, no band ever sounded quite like that before.

Yeah, it's a terrible review. Just speaking for myself, I never really cared for Megadeth or Mustaine (and back in the day he was, to put it mildly, a real dick) but suddenly complaining about his lyrics is just stupid, as they've always been more or less the same. And anyhow, lyrical content in the metal genre is

"Cookie monster" vocals would be a huge step up from Dave's constipated whine. Dude can play but man, that voice…it's abysmal.

Spot-on re: his voice, it is absolutely painfully bad.

As usual, Mustaine's terrible, terrible voice ruins every track on the album. He is without a doubt the worst singer in metal today and possibly ever. He sounds like he's constipated with a bad sinus infection on top of it, he's about as imposing as a wad of soggy toilet paper.

A LOT of his work in FWWM was cut, his deleted scenes were very odd but excellent.

Hey, Weiland was no Lemmy or Bowie, granted, however the first few STP records were excellent and stand up against anything else of that era.

Motorhead was very popular in England especially in the early 1980s when they had two #1 albums there. Interestingly enough, the band was touring the USA while they were at their height of popularity back home, so they sort of missed a lot of it.

It was the whole package really, that album is their best studio effort IMO.

Fucking Motorhead…"Ace Of Spades" was like a revelation to me when it first came out. It was the dirtiest, filthiest, most downright propulsive rock and roll I'd ever heard up to that point. I've been a die-hard fan ever since.

When Billy was a part of the crew yeah, the show really caught fire. But Billy wasn't all that great at taking the heat and they already had one of those (Fred). Those years, the early to mid 1990s, were Stern's very best.

Elliot Offen…ugh, now I remember (shudders).

Ahhh, Howard, Robin, Fred, Jackie, FaFa Fooey and the rest of those idiots…good times. Vicious feuds with rival radio shows, hilarious interviews, funny comics, wildly insensitive and crass jokes, Ben and Ray and Alison, I sometimes miss it to tell you the truth. Howard really started slipping after his divorce and

Bob's Burgers blows.

Disagree, I really enjoyed it. B+ for sure, one of the better episodes in what's been a pleasantly surprising season so far IMO. I felt some heart and a genuine love for the show in there too.

If you ever get the chance to see these guys live, don't pass it up. I've been to hundreds of metal/rock shows but there's nothing like SunnO))) live, man. It was absolutely obliterative, massive in every sense of the word. I saw several unprepared souls running for the exit with hands over ears, screaming. Cups were
