This one was OK, can't complain. I LOLed when Shauna said "there's a big fat blob here to see you" and Marge immediately says "Homer" from another room.

Gotta watch more than the first two. They're just setting the scene.

Jax's line to Wendy about what a great help she's been with his kids had to be some rather ominous foreshadowing, right? As in as soon as he finds out she knew where Juice was, she's dead. And why didn't Gemma just take the hammer away from Abel right away? And Unser, I mean come on, covering up the needless murder of

I've only binged watched TP (six times), didn't watch when it aired. For me, it's divided into two parts. Part one ends right after Leland dies and the guys are discussing what Bob "is" (then the owl), part two starts when they're at the Palmer's for Leland's funeral. Yeah, some of those later episodes are pretty

The hatch was fucking awesome. The numbers, the food, the weapons, the decor…Desmond…all perfect. Absolutely mind-fuckingly great TV.

"NOOOOO! Not the prostitutes in the employ of dangerous felons! How??? Why????"

I can't wait to see how our heroes explain their way out of that whorehouse full of dead women. Also loved how the new sheriff didn't seem all that angry about nearly being blown up by a grenade. Tough lady right there. The line of the night, though, was Gemma expressing her doubts about "the boys" being "raised by

I consider seasons 5-9 to be the best of the show's run, however I'm not all militant about it either. There's no question that there are more "dud" episodes than there used to be (IMO usually the gimmicky ones or when they try too hard to incorporate a guest star) but still, all in all I still enjoy a lot of later

Meh, typical latter-day Krusty-centric episode, not great, not terrible, a few great lines, a dumb B-plot. C sounds about right IMO.

Furio's rampage was way more impressive though.

IMO the funniest scene was when the sheriff told Jax that Juice was still a person of interest in the Tara case. Outcast SOA member vanishes at exact same time as club-related murder? Uh, yeah, definitely a person of interest there. The fact that it doesn't raise Jax's curiosity at all is just dumb IMO.

And you have to suspend your disbelief every time Jax sells his plan to another crime gang leader. You'd think everyone in the crime business would know enough to stay the hell away from SOA but nope, they buy into Jax's BS every single time.

That's a good and valid point, I can definitely see that.

When Claire and Cliff find out what he's been up to, boy are they gonna be pissed! He'll never get into Howard by hanging around with those hooligans and ne'er do wells.

LOL can't tell if you're being facetious but yeah, his name's in the credits.

This was basically a generic mid-season SOA filler episode, not bad but containing very little of substance. The new lady sheriff being corrupt was mildly surprising and the kid witnessing the brawl was definitely a jarring scene that had some genuine impact. The rest was SOA 101, double-crosses, big shootouts, Stone

I tend to agree with the comments regarding law enforcement on Charming. The best "crime dramas" have strong LE foils, they need to be a genuine threat, visible and dangerous. Perhaps the new sheriff will fill that role but based on her brief appearance this new one seems pretty much like all the rest of them, kind of

There's no nuance with "ice cold" Jax, he's difficult to like right now. I wish Sutter had tried a different tack with the character, something less predictable and more human.

Or DNA, surveillance and etc.

Jax and Gemma are forever crowing about "family" and "those boys", yet they'll leave them for long periods of time with pretty much anyone. Happens every single season.
