It actually just kept getting worse as it went along. I honestly felt bad for Hunnam for having to try to make that dialog convincing because no actor on the planet could have salavged that mess. It worked as self-parody, although I doubt that was the intent. All those ridiculously florid passages, LOL, I mean come

I just hate the idea of Wayne being "in love" with Gemma. There was nothing wrong with their "old friends who've been through a lot" relationship the way it was. Now he just seems like a total schlub.

Ugh, that Abel kidnapping…the "uh-oh" moment where SOA started squandering all that promise.

Perhaps we'd know a character like Bobby a little better if the show gave him (and the rest of the SAMCRO guys) a bit of a story arc of their own once in a while instead of wasting time with "special guest stars" who add little-to-nothing to the story.

IMO one of the more maddening things about the season was how it appeared that the show was finally going to seriously tackle the absurdity of the entire "biker gang" lifestyle instead of glorifying it as it normally does. I was (stupidly, I know) expecting more introspection regarding this. For example perhaps having

LOL IMO Siff did a very good job this season but Emmy awards? I don't think that's going to happen.

Why was Weller even on the show at all? His character served no purpose whatsoever.

It's even funnier to me because Gemma once again managed to take a dig at Wendy re: her drug problem, then proceeds to get loaded and murder her grandson's mother.

Ugh, I'm dreading that possibility re: Gemma. She used to be a way more sympathetic character but now she's just obnoxious and loathsome (even before she butchered Tara). It's impossible to feel anything but disgust and scorn for her, especially now.

Just so painfully obvious and ham-fisted.

I really didn't think it was all that bad by SOA standards, but Jax's journal monologue at the cemetery was some seriously awful shit, I was actually laughing by the time he got to the inevitable "everything I do I do for my sons" line. I'm sure someday they'll appreciate the dozen guys you killed for them, Jax. And

Thanks, I was going crazy trying to remember his name.

Stevie, when Guy takes the stage: "Boo. Eat a dick". God I'm gonna miss him.

Yeah, I can't remember them exactly. Kendra, etc.

Those still shots in the opening of "Powers Hour" and "Kenneth Powers" killed me. As did Stevie chugging sizzurp. Also cool how he got a Shane mention in there. Would have been cool to see his parents again, though and double for Clegg.

My favorite scene was Kenny & Stevie on set doing lines in front of the staff. Also cool that the other "Sesh" guys got some lines this week. And were Stevie's eyes extra freaky this week or what?

"The Basketball Diaries" (the book) was the first book I ever read that felt really, truly subversive to me (I was 13-14 at the time). Everything in that book was so totally alien to me at the time and it gave me an insight into a mindset I'd never contemplated before. I had to read it in secret, if either one of my

Was the giant guy the guy from "Parker Lewis Can't Lose"? And Marylin Manson was the weird waiter guy? Cool.

She did backing vocals on Gene Simmons' 1978 Kiss solo album too.

It's fantastic, all of it. The first few episodes can be tough to get through until you get used to the voices, but hang in, it's worth it.
