Right on re: "Twin Peaks". Especially the James subplot, which was just staggeringly awful in every possible way. Then again, at that point in TP's run it was basically completely rudderless and…uh, kind of all over the place.

My all time Skwissgaar-ism was: "they can't even keak Spinglish". And "calcomybrates" when they were dieting together.

Agreed. Perhaps the laptop contained nothing at all, but the shattered framed photo ends up coming into major, major play down the line. Plus now with the whole massive magnet thing you have Hank continuing to sniff around for suspicious "science geeks", too.

And there was definitely more humor too, as great as last season was there weren't a lot of "comedic" moments, at least not as many as in seasons one and two especially.
