Great post. Through it all, you get the impression that Tony genuinely cares about what Artie thinks about him. Artie's basically the last guy Tony knows who isn't always just kissing his ass, a la Paulie and even Sil to a degree.

But Tony was correct, Artie did have an annoying habit of jabbering too much with his customers (and interrupting their dinner conversations). Artie took that blurb about him being the "congenial host" a bit too much to heart.
