I missed that. Thank you!

My only beef with this episode is that we don't get a cameo of my favorite Legionnaire: Matter Eater Lad

My cousin is in this movie.

More like "Wrighting the ship," am I Wright?

Maybe they'll get Bruce Timm involved and it could be the lead-in to a JLU movie…. I can dream too

*Edgar Wright drops "Ant Man" script in garbage. He opens his desk drawer. His hand hovers over a fifth of bourbon, then a revolver. His resolve shakes as his hand moves left to right. Finally, he steels himself and reaches past both to pick up a yellow legal pad. At the top, he writes "The Atom: A film by Edgar

This episode is so good. It made me wish they could have devoted an entire episode to the human men and women who made the Watchtower function. Sort of a "Gotham Central" approach.

I think the overall theme of Different Class is "Jarvis Cocker kind of hates women"

I caught this in double feature with "The Big Lebowski" at a drive in, and I found the similarity between the two films pretty striking.

Jaysus!

STOP CALLING HER THAT!

I always had a little half-formed notion that this scene spoke to the whole new agey "Jesus was an alien/aliens built the pyramids" idea. Like, Brian did interact with aliens, but like everything else in his life it didn't measure up to Jesus.

A Mike Allred property getting the live action treatment? That always ends well. *checks refrences* Nope, poorly. Always ends…. poorly. I even underlined it.

Anyone see the WBEZ 91.5 microphone? Looks like Piz works for the only WBEZ show produced in New York—This American Life. Ira Glass cameo, Ira Glass cameo?

LA Theatreworks redid the original with a whole host of Star-Trek actors. I think they broadcast it a few years ago on Halloween. I found it deeply unsettling as I drove through the back-roads of Illinois even if I did know it was a set-up.

They do sort of foreshadow Lizzie Caplan's interest in Nick when he's on lookout for Daniel while Daniel is stealing the test and she chats Nick up in a really awkward way. Nick seems like the kind of guy who would find a girl finding him attractive very attractive.

Remember, you can't spell "Vaatu/Raava" without "Avatar"

I remember reading as many Anthony books as I could get my hands on from 10-14. Even then, I deeply disliked the idea that anyone knew what I was reading. I'm embarrassed by how much pleasure (sad, pathetic, lonely pleasure) I got from the books.

Man, aren't two Indiana Jones movies enough?
