Was anyone else getting a George Carlin vibe from old Louie?

"Lily: "We're not getting married at the mall."
Marshall: (firmly) Well will you just meet with the guy?""

So I realized why I liked the seventh season so much more than a.) most people and b.) seasons 5 and 6.

I will say that I didn't like last years premiere at all either, so there you go.

I was a fan of season 7 (well, a lot more than most people were), and I barely laughed at all.

Now that I think about it I'm bumping up season 7. Emotionally it hit almost every note, even if there were plenty of dumb plots and characters.

Since the Pierce discussion has been livened up since the whole Harmon thing, I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring. I don't comment on here too much and I doubt most people know of me (although I hope my Freaks and Geeks review will change that).

I'd have to agree with the 30 second scene. It's a perfect scene of Community because it's funny while still expressing perfectly how the audience feels about Pierce in that scene.
