Yeah, I thought the clue was bizarre because it basically implied the author was George Smiley as the other clues used authors. I'm not familiar with John la Carre but I know he wrote that book, so the clue confused me completely.

I'm not big on RTJ, but I'm impressed that El-P has had his hand in three seminal hip hop projects (for lack of a better term) in three decades: Company Flow in the 90s, Def Jux and artists like Cannibal Ox in the 00s, and now Run the Jewels. Not to mention his solid solo discography.
Seriously though, did this become a news story out of the pure bitterness Paul Shore radiated on Hollywood Handbook? Everyone is burying the lede here.
It's not Cee Lo Green's fault that all the women he and Cosby pursue have that Memento disease!
Quite relevant seeing as Trapt just ended up on the least essential releases of the year article.
Epic cover. I love how McKagan's keys seem like they're battling it out with the guitars rather than being relegated to the background.
RIP. His shenanigans in Keith's autobiography are quite fun, although I imagine if a lot of those stories were told by someone other than Keith they'd sound way more fucked up.
I'm glad Ryan took over in the second half of the show, it was getting too painful to watch. Adam staring off into space each time after getting control of the board was getting increasingly maddening… until he did it even with only one category left in play, then it became bizarrely funny.
With a post-credits cameo from MINDQUAD
I'll also throw out a recc for Czarface. Solid album and shows that the Wu nowadays needs to work with producers and rappers that aren't 3rd rate RZAs or lame protégés. Same with the Ghost album with Adrian Young
I really like this show. But then again I'm also a big fan of chem trails and fluoride in my water supply so it's understandable.
That episode where Homer has a grunge band…. There are no words. I didn't watch a new episode for years after that
I like that he never backed down from his beliefs despite the amount of bullshit the US government threw his way. I think part of the problem with judging him politically is that he mistrusted the Americans more than he was willing to criticize the Soviets, especially when he was concurrently battling anti-communism…
Marijuana ruins lives and is worse for you than cigarettes. But man I can't get enough of Rush Limbaugh's Chewable Morphine…
I like that you mention the hit potential in his songs. Round and Round is the type of song that could have launched a career instantly 30 years ago. Or imagine if a pop singer decided to do Can't Hear My Eyes the same way Neil Young tunes were turned into AOR ballads in the 70s.
If that's what you thought, avalon good look at yourself in the mirror.
His best Pumpkins song is "Go", which is on Machina 2. Only took him till the very last album that was barely released to do it! But seriously I think it's a lovely song.
It's impressive how they could take almost any song from Adore and turn it into a dynamic live rock tune.
Now that I read the lyrics I can understand why the song is titled Rhinoceros.
Half the movies in the top 50 are various action adventure trilogies that nerds love, the other half are quality films that have been sufficiently parodied by the Simpsons and thus do not need to be actually watched.
