Andrew Weiss and Sim Cain did indeed move on to Rollins Band. Rollins' book "Get in the Van" has some interesting stuff to say about Ginn, as well as that last tour with Gone.

Can't/won't defend a lot of the Ginn solo stuff (El Bad is very appropriately named), but the first two Gone records, "Let's Get Real, Real Gone for a Change" and "Gone II — But Never Too Gone!" are pretty bad-ass instro records. There was also a $75 edition, still super-nice but lacking the frills of the deluxe edition. I got the regular one, and I love it. It is still cheaper than used copies of the old editions, generally $100-$250 on eBay and not nearly as nicely produced.

Hurray for Wooden Shjips, good stuff right there even if I am never sure how to pronounce their name.
