LoveWaffle I agree, but Amon was a planner. I think it's highly likely that he understood a bender might one day break his mask so he better make damn sure that his face had a scar in that event.

I see why people see it that way, but I don't understand why that's a valid criticism. Lin the character doesn't know she's going to get her bending back. Lin risked her life and her bending to save the last airbenders and that's a noble sacrifice regardless of what the future brought.

I assumed he could sense with his bloodbending because of the way he found Korra. His tear confirmed to me that he knew what Tarrlok was doing. Team Avatar (the production side) get away with all the awesome in children's cartoons.

I wonder if it was just easier to make lightning less effective so it would be less confusing as to why people didn't die when they got tasered.
