reckoner ATLA and LoK have the fascinating ability to foster good discussion on every forum. AVClub is still the best, but the TVwithoutpity forums are fun. Even the reddit comments are generally great, almost never sexist, and even better mostly overtly feminist as surprising as that sounds.

I'm from NC and I'm not sure of another term that's in wide use; most everyone calls it coke, sometimes soda. However, we do have this thing called Cheerwine. A lot of people are very obsessed with it and I've never seen it out side of NC, except in border Appalachia towns (it's brewed in NC).

I'm from a place where all sodas are cokes, and you specify that the coke you want is Pepsi, or Ginger Ale or Root Beer. I think pop sounds ridiculous too, but in a good way. I like regional colloquialisms - except for clicker, that one is stupid and antiquated; it's a fucking remote, maybe a channel changer at worst.
