You're some sort of king of idiots.
You're some sort of king of idiots.
[CLAP CLAP CLAP]
I spent the entire movie screaming "LOOK OUT YOU'RE FLOATING THROUGH SPACE!"*
I just assumed that was because it's alphabetical. But I played this like @avclub-83de02c3cfc3634de1279cbc17a8fbae:disqus, I avoided everything after that initial teaser until I was able to see the flick as I didn't want anything spoiled.
Do yourself a favor and see it in IMAX 3D if you're able - this is one of those few rare films where that technology really does service the story and viewing experience well. I'll probably buy a copy when it's released, but there's no way it'll be the same as watching it on a massive screen.
Couldn't agree more with Sonia on The Thick of It - the bleak and inglorious end to Tucker was pitch-perfect, as well as Glenn's principled stand that ended only as Glenn could end it.
I've been rewatching the earlier seasons piece by piece, and the end of that episode after he walks out with the bag of cash, there's this wonderful and chilling moment when Walt closes the door to the Aztek.
HBO posted the ep on YouTube which was, frankly, a brilliant PR move. And a great way to waste part of my lunch hour.
Slovis is so good it almost makes me angry.
That's hilarious. And reading that, now I want to revisit OBSERVE AND REPORT.
The reason I can find myself continuing to feel bad for Jesse is that, unlike Walt, he is constantly overwhelmed with remorse and horror with the things he's done. And he's tried to make them right.
I wonder what television would have looked like with Odenkirk on THE OFFICE and Steve Carell playing Saul.
He sealed the deal with those new specs.
If she has Skylar killed, which was set up pretty hard in last night's episode…
"BABA BOOEY BABA BOOEY"
Also, the reason for Todd visiting Skylar was because Lydia visited Walt because there was a serious dropoff in quality once he handed the reins over.
I think the pushback against this discussion is that the distinction between the terms/sub groups really isn't germane to what's happening in the world of Breaking Bad. If this were OZ this would be a totally reasonable detail to get right. Here, though - 'Nazis' works well enough. And is faster to write and read than…
I'm still rooting for Walt inasmuch I want to see him, at the very least attempt to, redeem himself for all the terrible things he's done.
The fireman that finds Holly is one of Rian Johnson's regular actors.
You weren't the only one. I was kicking myself for not seeing the writing on the wall immediately.
