Where's that Vagina Squid you promised me? Mad Men gave me a cunt-eating octopus but it's not the same—I still wanna start WWIII.

Engber's just mad…
…because Slate's readers weren't buying his moronic ("evil" is the word I used in their comments section) review of District 9.

This explains Bryan Singer's BSG
Universal is desperate for a recognizable brand—it's the same reason Paramount went ahead with Abrams Star Trek (which I liked, btw) instead of letting the franchise die a deserved death after the one-two crotch punch of suck that was Nemesis and Enterprise.

I never make a point of watching this show but, in certain desultory moments, I'll happen across it while channel surfing and say "Ooooh, Gilmore Girls!"

I hate to admit—I really hate to admit it—but I saw and heard way too much of myself in Pete's whine-fest with Trudy. Not so much in his sniping at Ken, though.

Hey, apes are sexy. What are ya gonna do?

Spoken like someone who is truly Jung at heart.

Don is savvy enough to know that there's no need to lie to get her into bed—she's the one trying to maneuver Don into bed. Maybe he knew that telling her it was his birthday would make her feel extra generous but no, I truly believe it was Dick Whitman's birthday (so now he gets to sample her—get it? Get it?) .

Hi, your momma! I've missed you.

Give me a sandwich and a douchebag and there's nothing I cannot accomplish!

I'd actually take away twenty minutes from one of his good films. SR was a poorly plotted, poorly written, poorly cast (w/ the exception of Langella and Spacey, both wasted to differing degrees) mess.

I'd say X-Men is tolerable, made better in retrospect by its far superior sequel—and even that stole its best beats from The Wrath of Khan and The Empire Strikes Back.

Fuck! Your. Your. YOUR.

Best. Character. Ever. Seriously, I hope you are saving these to you're analytical engine's capacious memory, m'lady, as they are simply brilliant.

Considering how shitty the first X-Men movie was and how soporific (and shitty) Superman Returns was, I expect little.

Oh, and Elegant Victorian Lady can faint dead away into my waiting arms any day—even though "she's" probably a dude.

From what I've heard, this movie will have no connection to the RDM re-imagining. It will be another re-imagining of the 70s show, from the ground up.

The Powers of Matthew Prawn?

Confusing "it's" with "its" IS a typo—most of the time, people who make the mistake are aware of the distinction but are writing or typing too quickly to catch the error.

The show was funny up until the last season or two. That's all i care about.
