So next week is the actual season finale, right? Right?…

I don't disagree about Walking Dead having some of the issues you mention, but I do disagree on the severity of them. I personally like that the plotting is kept pretty simple and straight forward. It gives it that little edge of realism that you don't get from a show like Revolution (AKA The Ralph Lauren Apocalypse).

I vaguely remember sleeping through Revolution in a high school history class.

Eh, I dunno. If that happened in real life it'd take a good while before people realized what happened, then you'd still have to factor in the bystander effect. Most people would just stand around and watch in disbelief.

I'd give this one a C+, just because it had two moments I enjoyed: the spear gun through the diner seat and Kevin Bacon blowing away a perp mid-sentence.

I did read it.Maybe they can wait until someone's ACTUALLY outraged before they give out lectures where they're not warranted in the first place.

WWoS, I realize that people exist who are easily offended. I frequent the Internet quite a bit, and this is their stomping ground. To some people being offending and outraged is personal validation.

I guess I don't see the need for "outrage" here. She could easily be any white woman in New Mexico. She's not exactly dancing around with a tomahawk saying "How, white man!" She's wearing something that takes visual queues from a culture, something artists have been doing for generations. Her makeup doesn't look any

What's wrong with thinking some part of a culture's aesthetic is beautiful and worth emulating? Do we have to be offended by EVERYTHING?

It seems like they weren't even fully behind that gem given how tiny it is on the poster.

If by 'swimming' you mean they jumped for a camera so as to be poorly Photoshopped into a poster, then yes, they went swimming.

Sonic 2 is definitely one of the best platformers of all time.

Ugh, grossly overrated game. I can't imagine that anyone that played the vastly superior PC shooters of the time would rank Goldeneye 64 that highly.

I disagree, I really enjoy the soundtrack. Mark Knopfler nailed it.

It's a pretty flawless experience. I went in skeptical, but left impressed.

Calvin and Hobbes. A perfect window and mirror, only made better by the fact that there's no glut of merchandise to cheapen it.

Either a movie's great or it's shit? No, I don't think so. Saying a movie like The Gift, which is perfectly passable, average entertainment, is on par with ACTUAL lousy movies like Bucky Larson is just wrong. And coming from the viewpoint of someone who actually makes things and doesn't just consume and complain about

I guess I don't categorize a mediocre or average film as "lousy." There are many shades in between a great film and a lousy one, and I think he's only made one truly lousy movie.

I think that's false. He's directed a few gems and a few mediocre efforts. The only actually bad movie I can think of is Spiderman 3. Evil Dead 1 and 2, Army of Darkness, A Simple Plan, Darkman, Spiderman 2, and Drag Me to Hell are all good. Even movies like The Gift and the Quick and the Dead aren't total wastes.

"They come from all walks of life."
