It reminded me a lot of the phone scenes in The Mothman Prophecies, which were pretty creepy.

He is crazy. Also, groups of survivors seem intent on not letting other groups in on where they are hiding out, so in a way it makes sense.

Yeah, it bugged me that they were putting words in her mouth for plot convenience. Maggie definitely felt like a puppet saying words she wouldn't normally say for the sake of moving the plot forward.

This was much better than the previous week's snoozer. It's nice to see the two groups finally coming together.

Granted I only watch the first episode, so maybe I missed the good stuff.

I think the big problem I had with Last Resort is the pilot didn't really set up any kind of structure for where the show was headed. Is every episode them just defending this island? Do they get back on the sub eventually and… find another island? I just don't see how this goes anywhere interesting. A good pilot sets

Revolution is way too glossy and safe for the premise. It's like Gap sponsored an apocalypse. I have a feeling it'll go the way of Heroes and tank after season 2.

I kind of enjoyed 666 Park Avenue, but not enough to pitch a fit that it's cancelled. Tried to get into Last Resort, but didn't even make it to the second episode.

I was expecting a racist rant or delusional conspiracy theory from Jennifer Lawrence. You disappoint me.  Being a self-described redneck and shopping at Wal-Mart is 'appalling'? That's the kind of statement that gives intellectuals a bad name. And the large majority of silent movies ARE boring.

Medium was actually where I saw him first. The dude's a pro.

Agreed, anytime they can work in classic rock it's a win. The first couple of seasons seem to be stacked with great songs, then they went cheap and threw in mostly generic rock riffs. Always nice to hear one pop up here and there.
