I mean… it depends. For me now, it's all I know; I couldn't imagine working in a place where everybody is timid and shocked if somebody starts yelling and screaming. You adapt to your environment.
I mean, people appreciate feedback on how they're doing. If a person can't tolerate his/her subordinates saying "you handled that situation improperly; you should have done x, y, and z," then they're really not cut out to be managers.
I'm 34, and I do care about most of those types of music from the '60's and '70's (I'm not a jazz fan really at all). I'm familiar with quite a few folk singers of the '60's — Joan Baez is one of my favorite singers ever — but I just haven't heard any of this woman's music, evidently.
