The first one was fun. The second one was fun on a visceral level but terrible if you spent any time whatsoever thinking about anything that happened.
Or how there are only two female characters, both of which have been seen in their underwear against their will by Kirk, who has no respect for women whatsoever.
Or how

Political you mean? I mean, I'm Catholic, but I'm more than willing to let the atheists run things for a while.

Everything in the Vivien Leigh biography was 100% fact……except for the tentacle.

Have you seen the trailer for "C.O.G.", a movie based off of a few David Sedaris stories? It's…..Yeah, the "David" guy is a Yale graduate sort of "observing" a bunch of bumpkins while he works with them, as opposed to a guy who dropped out of a State college and needed a job. I just cringed the whole time watching it

To be fair, that's how Ira Levin wrote it.

Why are you capitalizing nouns? Are you German?

I never grew up in a time where Jackson wasn't on trial for molesting kids, so when he died, I was kind of confused that everyone in the world suddenly acted like they'd been closeted super fans all along. I love his music as an adult (I really never heard much of it as a kid), but for me, it's like having a coffee

At least the costumes were nice. That's more than can be said for Star Trek: Generations.

AV Club is like a dog returning to its own vomit with topics like this.

I think a lot of atheists are kind of embarrassed by him, but when you're an organization of any clout, you're always going one or two members mortifying you by spouting irritating versions of your beliefs in front of the rest of the world.
He's like the atheist version of a charismatic preacher.

I think most of America would be more comfortable using that system of measurement than metric. I guess we're visual learners.

Something in the milk's not clean with that guy, but she's got the rest of her life to not watch "Annie Hall" when we learn she's right in 5-10 years.

Your sister sounds like Louise Belcher.

There was also a huge celebrity wave of appreciation. I remember Bret Michaels saying something like "Yeah, I love that dude. But he better not touch my woman!" That was the exact quote. I remember it because I had to reread it a few times because it was so odd.

Well, it's certainly Rushmore *about* stupid people.

All the boys in my high school had that shirt. I'm not much better. I had a "GOD Tina, eat your ham" shirt that I wore to gym class. That'll show all the popular girls with their "Britney Spears: The Onyx Hotel" shirts………..

"Bill is a very generous actor. He gave Nichelle Nichols herpes!"
- George Takei

Yeah, but…..Come on, they were hot together, but she pretty much roofied him. (Even though she was kind of roofied herself at the time, so maybe it's like Gob forgetting he took those Forget Me Nows.)
However, damn. When those two made out, it was very hot.
That episode also has my favorite Spock line, delivered very

I LOVE Dr. Miranda Jones. She's one of the better things out of Season 3.
I also loved Kirk's "EUGHhhdffsdo" face when he finds out her secret. He looks so squicked.
