Yeah this seems misplaced in this thread

It'd be Gendry's last name if Robert had even acknowledged his presence - given I'm not sure Robert even knew about Gendry I don't think Gendry has any last name.

@avclub-67f90fc721c4b76620b3107bc207b164:disqus who had to choose a last name and sigil when he was knighted

@RedScarab:disqus frankly at this point I wouldn't be surprised if it was revealed Ramsay was solely into beastiality.

I think the only one I saw was *spoiler* about the Captain Hook thing, but given it doesn't appear he's read the books (which I judge him not for) I doubt he could spoil much if he wanted to.

Over/under on the number of paragraphs in the next book before he gets to describing someone using a treacher made of stale bread to eat a stew with?

Hodor took classes at Method One?

Thought I was going crazy on those Community boards noticing this phenomenom.

I can see the logic in this. I can't say I'm necessarily swayed by it, but at least i have a better understanding of where some of these complaints are coming from. Thanks.

I don't feel bad for the actors - I have an issue with the actors agreeing to portray themselves that way. I understand they need to make money too, but Bobby Lee made a choice to a play a thinly-veiled caricature of a stereotypical old Asian woman.

Can someone please help me understand where we are supposed to draw the line between "cheap fan service" and "fun callbacks?"

May be late and definitely OT, but as much as the Simpsons got me into commentaries, I'm not so certain that I don't find the Futurama tracks to be even funnier. I think having DiMaggio and West around for almost all of them doesn't hurt, and Cohen's geekiness and ability to recall the production number of episodes in

For work purposes, if it's an end-of-the-day meeting, I like to say, "let us celebrate the ending of this meeting with the adding of chocolate to liquor."

They made it even more difficult as time went on too. Why'd they disable the feature on DVDs allowing you to switch the audio tracks and subtitle tracks on the fly. To get to the damn subtitles in one season it was like 13 submenus. Ridiculous.

but…..but……but…….but……but…….

Way back when they first made the deal with Frey for use of the Twins (that sounds dirty), they noted Catelyn got a look at the Frey daughters when she was inside negotiating. When she tells Robb the outlines of the deal, he (or maybe Theon) asks if there were any good ones.

You ever stop to consider that maybe it's the way you say stuff and not what you're saying? That taking a piece of fiction with characters people like and calling them "caricatures" and whatnot may be inflammatory language and really has nothing to do with the topic at hand.

Ahhhhhh - I obviously breezed past the part where you said "Written by "Dick Cheney"

PERFECT analogy. I had never even thought of that connection.
