Agreed. At least for someone who never got into JSA comics or anything with that cast of characters, this does work for me a a way to have them exist in the DCnU without the weird coincidences like two guys named Green Lantern but with different powers. I wonder when the first crossover will be,.

I think it's debatable to say Charlie was an established politico with a PR bent like, say, Toby or Sam.

I think Sorkin gets a bad rap on this. It's not ALL internet commenters; it's the ones we poke fun at from SNPP on the Simpsons Classic Reviews, it's the people on TWOP who (literally; i was there for the west wing run as a commenter) mostly didn't seem to actually enjoy the show and just wanted to see the stories

Watching a Mets game these days is a lot like going out drinking with a friend who gets all riled up when drunk - it's embarrassing, you wonder why you're doing it, and you just can't wait until it's over.

Thank you. It seems like Season 4 of West Wing and Studio 60 really introduced this concept that everything everyone says on all of Sorkin's shows must be espousing his elitist, condescending and holier-than-thou views when in fact they're FREAKING CHARACTERS HE'S WRITING and they usually receive comeuppances at

I dunno. Show's been off the air for quite some time now. I think it's fair to discuss the series as a whole by now. Not that I don't empathize, but it wouldn't be my first instinct either.

They used her much more in the earlier seasons.

In fairness to us Community honks, the usage of Chang is one thing many of us are willing to admit went horribly wrong with the show.

If it helps, on the commentary for that episode, even the showrunner and writers appeared to be somewhat appalled at how far they went with that particular joke.
