Oh, I actually agree then.  She has to know she's being bitchy when she's doing it, so why deny it?  Defending yourself on a comments section is never not tacky.

Oh, I don't think we'd dish it out half as bad (or half as well)  as the Queens themselves.  As far as I'm concerned, girl can throw shade all she wants as long as she stays clever.

Have you tried Boardwalk Empire?  It's certainly no match for Mad Men, but it's the same period as Downton Abbey without all the conversations about entails or general britishness.  People's actions have consequences!  And that one gets BETTER in the second season.
