Hmmm. I keep being disappointed to see Cruise starring in otherwise interesting films, but I usually wind up liking his performances in the end.

Strange bedfellows, this seems.

I am in AK, and needless to say, gun ownership is pretty normal here. A lot of people use them for hunting, but not all.

It's a lazy way to switch chords that happens to sound really cool even if one doesn't know the technical name for it. Best of all worlds. (Until everyone is doing it…)

When I saw the headline, I expected it to be about Kevin Cadogan. He co-wrote songs on their first coupla albums (i.e. key player) before getting replaced, as it says, by this guy. More proof as it is that Jenkins is pathological in his ways.

For catchy rock-pop, the debut is very solid. Blue is not bad itself.

This Atlantis film might wind up being the "twin" to James Cameron's WaterAvatar, maybe?

I think that the 21st century is actually a more insidious, powerful second coming of the 80s. 21C will not die the same death that the 80s did, not unless it's as a result of society itself collapsing around it.

It just strikes me as… Maybe ironic that hating Nickelback is itself just as cliched and predictable as Nickelback allegedly is with their music. The circle is thus complete.

*their album, not there. Editing appears to be non-user friendly on mobile device.

She sounds like kind of a walking cliche of a type herself. I can't say that I am any more compelled to check out her band (whom I've not heard) than I am to listen to a Nickelback song (only familiar with maybe three, not sure if "Rockstar" is one of them) to be honest.

None of these shows sound interesting at all.

I find P&R likable and it can be very funny, but I don't consider it compulsively must-watch. I would never worry about missing an episode, etc. For me, the best elements are Ron Swanson and April (also Tom and Donna are amusing), and of course Amy Poehler is uber-lovable.

They way that Coulson says of Tahiti, "It's a magical place," makes me a bit queasy for some reason. Like a really bad Luau that I went to once. It might have something to do with how he looks like he's been rubbed with grease over a fake tan.

Ward is horrible. His whole "attitude" is so clearly something contrived to create tension and not a believable character attribute.

I completely agree about the verging on unwatchable.

Principles of Logic and Gating.

I'm trying to come up with a way to imagine that this show is actually a sequel to Stargate, but I cannot come up with a scenario that makes sense. So I guess that it's not a sequel to Stargate.

It's almost like Stan Lee named the character.
