I like "Wonderwall." It's been way overplayed over the years, but it's simple and I can still remember the first time that I heard it. It perfectly captured what I was feeling at that moment. I strongly think that the song's key moment is the elliptical melody with which he sings, "I don't believe that anybody feels

Ah! I agree, Raiders of the Lost Ark is perfect.

Ha. I just watched the Casino Night episode of the Office.

I am big on Adore as well. I think that it was the perfect progression from MCIS. Nothing else would have made as much sense or been as poignant. I love the photo of Billy, James and D'arcy walking up the bleak hillside in black and white; it seems like it sums up the era.

The Incredibles - I watched it again this past week, and it is just astounding how comprehensively good it is; it is hard to believe that any film could come out that well in every way. Other films about which I have had that feeling:

Last year, I marked this as a film I might be interested in. But the preview that I saw a month or two ago instantly drained me of my interest and enthusiasm. I doubt that I will get around to watching this anytime in the near future.

I would have like this 100 times if I could. Star Wars by Wes Anderson would be like waking up in a rainforest made of candy. And Alison Brie.

I'm with Buzz - being Harley Quinn means that you either don't say anything (which won't be sustainable), or you bring the Queens accent.

Luke did kinda help draw attention away from his rebel friends on the forest moon OF ENDOR. The a sanctuary moon. Although granted, Palpatine wasn't very worried about them.

Far too many Bothans have died to get us to this point. Speaking of which, real practical-effects/costume/makeup Bothans could be awesome…

Is your real name House?

The best Star Wars novels are the ones that DO NOT retread the films, and there are many of them. You fail to aknowledge that. There have been some terrible books, but also some excellent ones that quite arguably represent the best Star Wars storytelling since TESB.

I enjoy pretty much every interview he does, and this one made an especially lot of sense.

Even though I didn't think that Brave was very good as an overall film, the main character's hair was mind-blowing.

What about Ned Zeppelin or Lez Zeppelin? (Both real.)

Of course JPJ is busy in his own right. I just read somewhere that when LZ were inducted into the R'n'R Hall of Fame or something, he said, "thank you for finally remembering my phone number," to Plant and Page. i.e. they hadn't been including him in what they were doing. But I'm not sure if that story is true…

Here I come, a full year after the fact, driven to jump in. So here areis what I have to say…

They should do a steampunk-themed acoustic tour. Make the anachronisms work for you. Bring in some backing vocalists so that Plant doesn't wear out. People would swoon over that.

Hey, I was in the Hawthorne area last year! That's probably the closest I will ever get to Plant. (Even without regards to timing.)

John Paul Jones, meanwhile, is wondering why no one ever calls *him.*
