People don't change their gender to compete in sport. They also don't change to gawk while peeing in the opposite sex's bathroom.

Given the existence of people genetically of one gender but with the genitalia of another (such as the case with CAIS http://tinyurl.com/7gp5y [SFW]) and true hermaphrodites, the binary notion that gender is determined by genetics independent of social perception is chimerical, even before modern medicine.
