The second is way shorter, and it's got singing along/drumming to Rush. All kinds of epic.

Walter is a lot more sympathetic and compelling than Nancy Botwin too. He knows he's going to die and has a pregnant wife, whereas Nancy always came across as greedy to me.

Huh. I think Mad Men's biggest strength is that every single substantial character, and there are a lot, is as beautifully realized as the set design. The only possible exceptions I can think of are Cosgrove and Cooper, but I'm optimistic. There's definitely hints of depth there.

It's really nothing like Weeds in terms of plotting, character depth, cinematography, rationality, quality of acting, tone, et al. Although they do share a premise, I'll give you that much.
