In the same vein of unearthing classic rock tunes for credits — how about Stevie Wonder's "I Believe" over the closing credits of High Fidelity? ALWAYS gives me goosebumps.

If we're going with dick-tuck songs, how about "The Crying Game" and that shower scene reprised in Ace Ventura?

"God Only Knows" is the big refrain from Enduring Love, if anyone else has seen that, too.

Nick Cave's great in Jesse James. My short list of cinematic scores from the last ten years includes those from Plunkett and Maclaine, 13th Warrior, Gladiator, and of course, Fight Club.
