I'm a sucker for Paradise by the Dashboard Light in almost any format.

"The creators of Bombshell wanted to mount a show about a woman. Instead, they’re fading in on a girl."

Great review. I had very low expectations going in, and it exceeded them, though not by a ton.

From what I recall from the Musical episode… no.

Holy crap, never realized that was Lady!

I love Blink-182, truly, and listen to their albums all the time. But all the live performance videos I've seen sound, erm, pretty bad. So them.

I feel the same feelings about Katy Perry, except with E.T. instead of Last Friday Night.

Also, isn't the "Youths" thing a little bit stolen from 30 Rock. Not entirely, but a little bit, right?

I actually kinda like Jake Johnson. My favorite line on this show so far remains his "No, I don't dance, I'm from the town in Footloose", which is partly the writing, but I like his delivery.

Too early to tell if this show is kinda OK despite itself or if they're doing it consciously.

I am perhaps anomalous, but I love scrubs while still managing to mostly hate Braff.

Yeah. And to be perfectly honest, none of this stuff bothered me the first time through, because, like they were hoping, I just forgot about it. But watching it a second time through, every time they talk about permanent character attribute that then is subsequently discarded, I just wonder.

One of the things that always bums me out about Scrubs is the frequency with which the show introduces things that, apparently, have always happened or always happen; things which are are then subsequently ignored from then on.

The Turk Preacher thing mostly reminded me how in later seasons it was Laverne who functioned in the "believer" role, and how weird it was to see these early episodes where that identity hasn't really been established yet.

All good points. I think Kevin actually did a pretty good job getting into the details of the show in his review, but that overall opinion didn't really seem reflected in a "D+" grade.

I don't mean to be overly melodramatic on this issue, but I do feel like if you're going to just review one episode of a season (particularly a finale), there should be some sort of responsibility to reflect the series itself in the grade given. While you may not have liked the finale (though your objections
