I agree that part of the problem with this episode is that the characters' perspectives were too predictable and a little too unbelievable. On the other hand, I'm not sure I would buy Maxine as weary of Muslims given how woke she seems to be on most issues. I could see her having problematic views on perhaps issues of

David Alan Grier can make ANYTHING sound funny. It's so impressive. I also loved how sincere he seemed when he was discussing his fear of being a father.
