Hey, I wouldn't shut up about it on Twitter. I was just waiting for someone to say, "Hey, let's hang out."

The team at Picture Show knows what they're doing. Specifically, they had an iPad with the movie on it and went around to match the shots exactly. It was really impressive.

I spent the last week traveling, first to Nathan Rabin's (fabulous) wedding in Atlanta then to visit my in-laws, daughter in tow, in Tampa. But I still managed to consume some culture. I've been catching up on A Song Of Fire And Ice, slowly. (My wife somehow blazed through all five published books in three weeks; I'm…

Like I always say, if it looks appealing, go see it. I'm just here to supply a review. The movie has a lot going for it, it just didn't work well enough in the end for me to give it a recommendation.

I've never tracked it down, but should. Gillespie was also known for dating Bob Dylan and an acting career that included the Hammer movie…

Corrected the PINUPS thing. Thanks. I think Haynes take on glam is pretty persuasive. (But that should be obvious.) Never loved MAN WHO SOLD the way I loved other albums from around then.
