No. (Assuming we got it right here.)

No. That was my first thought too, though.

Ilsa.

I'm baffled by "V," "X," and "Y". "Y" looks like TAXI DRIVER but… doublechecking… Right. TAXI DRIVER doesn't start with a Y The "FOxY BROWN" theory might be right for "X."

It was nice of the local high school to lend the boys its gym to shoot this video.

Everyone who saw this and didn't like it has my respect. You saw it. You didn't like it. Fair enough. But don't judge it by its trailer (which I didn't think made it look that impressive either.)

On the commentary, Zemeckis (or Gale, I'm not sure) talks about how Deezen's character was based on a Star Trek obsessive he knew.

Hitting the "like" button a thousand times.

Last year.

Look, I wasn't swayed by the trailer and @radaar has clearly seen the film and had problems with it and I respect that. (I will say this: The scene he described only sounds trite when reduced to a bare bones description. Movies aren't just plot.) But please don't prejudge WAR HORSE. It's really good.

I know I'm in the minority here but I can only talk about how it played to me. (We can agree that SPANGLISH was kind of interesting, though.)

It's not. It's more like a film that 10 years from now will leave people wondering how it happened.

Definitely. That's an excellent movie. And I never made the connection.

For you? Anything.

I think you're thinking of Paul Westerberg's solo debut (which has some more good songs on it.)

And apparently that site is copyright 2005. Did DORF, USMC ever come out?

Sunn Classics out of Park City. I was thinking something by them might be column fodder at some point. Apparently they're back, too. The website lists two upcoming projects: PINNOCHIO IN THE HOOD and DORF, USMC (both starring Tim Conway). There's also an elaborate plan for a $500 million Sunn theme park. It's kind of

One thing I never really got to in the piece, apart from the "More" reference, is how big a role Orotolani and Oliviero's score plays. It's lush in the classic Italian movie music style and front-and-center through the whole piece. It's quite lovely, too. I owned the soundtrack for years before seeing the movie. And

I was worried that description would turn people off. And I get it. I've got a reputation around this office for being especially sensitive to violence to dogs and dogs dying onscreen. I never saw I AM LEGEND in part because of that. (Also, it didn't look that hot.) But, you know, I made it through. The actual act

I believe that was MONDO MAGIC.
