Exactly. I don't think it's exactly the Watergate cover-up that we didn't mention that. Mindy Kaling and Amelie GIllette are different people.

You mean this?

You're right. And I probably should have gotten into that a bit more. My take: I'm not sure if that's who he is so much as the role he plays in that setting. Talking to the angel, he's a stern evil spirit. Talking to Faust, at first, he uses logic to tempt him. In a humble village setting, he's a jolly lech. He's the

"Renzo" is my second favorite here. I love Fellini like I love few directors, but his bit overstays its welcome.

Just so you can see what I mean with that Craig Finn comparison:

Via typo.

We had some technical difficulties.

So, look: I do not recommend anyone see this movie. But if you did see this movie, can we talk about the ending?  *** SPOILERS TO FOLLOW *** The last scene would seem to imply that what we've just watched was the main character's fantasy. Oh, and Fantastic Four. Or FF, or whatever.

I would add Avengers, New Avengers, and Avengers Academy to that list.

Corrected. And yes.

I hate that American Graffiti change so much. It was right that it looked mundane before. Here's this diner that looks like nothing special as the sun goes down. But once the sun sets it become a magical, glowing place. Now it looks like Mel's is located on Naboo. Grr…

What the hell? I need to find out why some of these are posting with my Twitter handle.

Yeah, that's me. Our comments system has a glitch in the matrix.

I think there are two strands to Peckinpah's and they are uncomfortably related. There's the attitude toward violence and masculinity, which probably has more nuance and ambiguity than I suggested above. But I think it's attitude toward women is pretty much as vile as I described.

I won't spoil. But you might not be right.

Professor Martin Kemp, you are correct.
