Hey, that's really me behind the thumb.
Hey, that's really me behind the thumb.
We're working on switching it back, actually. It was a last minute switcheroo. Once we get it fixed you should be able to choose which way you see it.
I wasn't aware of this. Looking into it.
Yes. They're importing now if they're not here already.
This is kind of a test comment
Feel free to ignore it. Also, the movie is not very good.
I believe that Zack is watching the last DVD release without the "improved" special effects.
Seconded to what Noel says. I see the AV Club feed as a chance to alert readers to new content and news and… Wel'll think of other things. But for the deep knowledge and instant reactions to stuff, you'll want the writers' individual feeds.
From Twitter:
I meant "can't find you."
Kind find you, dude. Can you send the URL?
I'd love to do more with it but, apart from announcing upcoming content, I got a little stumped. Suggestions = welcome.
That should be "sigh." Not "sight." Sigh.
Sight. Or not. The updated version should be coming through shortly. In the meantime:
Again…
Sorry about the bad link. Everything should be cool now.
Interesting. Well, I'm glad he didn't read it until later since there's plenty of room for both.
Also, I know what you mean about Siskel. He always had advice about the movie he _wished_ he could see. I try to avoid that.
Take that observation as an aside, really. It bugged me. If the love story had worked or if the movie had worked for me in some other way the fairy tale version of race relations might have still bugged me but you'd see a different sort of review.
It's not based on the same book, but watching MAD MEN it's clear that Matthew Weiner has read REVOLUTIONARY ROAD. (And, if only in the general vibe, Walker Percy's THE MOVIEGOER, which was released the same year.)
It's not universally disliked here. You could even say it's tearing the staff apart. If you were being melodramatic.
I was wondering about that. Surely these had to work at such an angle that you wouldn't get boxed in. And yet they don't appear to.
