I remember a lot of SMALLVILLE critics talking about it being just a monster-of-the-week show.

Order received..
A few people had warned me off even covering the first season but I'm glad I started at the beginning. The episodes I like I really like. And the episodes that fail are kind of fun and interesting. If memory serves, we're about to hit a bit of a valley, "Ice" aside, but I'm still looking forward to it.
Thank you.
It's over on Videocracy. I'm usually skeptical of these things. There's a similarity there but it's not overwhelming. But I liked the other song, too, and it made me want to check out that band, which I suspect was the true mission of the clip anyway.
Good idea.
Actually, I was trying to say that Martin's simple lyrics work in the context of the songs.

I'm about 60 pages in. I'm going to reserve judgment but at this point I can safely say it's not the most fantastic novel of all time. And I'd never heard of it before either.
I know! I went in expecting nothing. Then I found I was really enjoying it. And then toward the end I realized I was reading a great book. Glad you read it.
You know. I get it now. And I feel pretty stupid. I will reread.
Added note
If you watch part 2 of the making-of, it references an imminent video release. Never happened.
We'll start fresh with season two, though we'll almost certainly review the Season One box set when it comes out.
I knew this post was coming!
Funny….
I just picked this up on CD recently and thought it was pretty good. The live renditions of the then-more-recent stuff sounds better than the glam-era material.("Station To Station"'s a particular highlight.) But it's still better than DAVID LIVE.
Needy comedies
And I am an Odmirer of the Oswalt. (Wait, that doesn't work, does it?)
I'm not the new Zack
This piece briefly showed up under my byline. That was my mistake. I'm not Zack and Zack is not me.
