[adopting nerd voice]

You know what Phil Ochs songs I really liked?: "William Butler Yeats Visits Lincoln Park and Escapes Unscathed / Where Were You in Chicago?" It's cool to hear him stretching out. I wonder what he could have done with more care and a more sympathetic producer.

Patton Oswalt has terrific taste. I'm just not seeing what he sees here.

Love that story. And I'm sure there was a lot of affection behind it. I thought it was a pretty sweet piece.

Which Cure album has "New York State Of Mind" on it? Is it PORNOGRAPHY?

Assy Nurse
There's a better than good chance that that nurse was played by my friend, voiceover artist Jen Cohn.

I've heard this theory too. It's a great, Philip K. Dick-worthy twist. But I don't think there's enough in the film to support it. I wish there were a little more ambiguity.

But seriously. They're robots. Not aliens.

"Push It"
"Tramp"
"My Mic Sounds Nice"
"Let's Talk About Sex"
"The Showstopper"
"Spinderella's Not A Fella…"

… Looks and sounds like Bluto. And was apparently drunk all the time.

Actually…
I believe Lilly looked more like Little Orphan Annie than one of Santa's helpers in that dress.

Really? Wow. Love that show.

Picture
Sorry for the generic picture above. For some reason Sci Fi tends to provide the least interesting images from any given episode. The Doctor _does_ answer a cell phone this time out, however, so it is from this episode. Otherwise, it could be from just about any episode.

GONE BABY GONE was beyond decent. (I know Scott agrees with me on this poin.) MADE OF HONOR, on the other hand…

I'm pretty sure it went Red Stockings, Reds, Redlegs, Reds.

Script
For the curious, here's the full shooting script, complete with alternate scenes, and a different ending (that takes place immediately after TP's last episode):

I wanted to name our band "The Cheerleader Experiment" but was overruled by my duet partner (a.k.a. my wife).

Watching the movie I took a note reading "mushroom cloud of hair" but I didn't find any space for it in the review.

There's a long set-up before the 88 minutes begins and then the film plays pretty fast and loose with the gimmick. "Five minutes" somehow becomes 15 minutes.

UPDATE
3 and a half hours later that extra Nutriloaf sits untouched.
