Blood Meridian as Myth
Fantastic insights, Donna. Up until this article, I was content to think of Blood Meridian as a very well-written, exceedingly bleak book and leave it at that. But the idea of it as myth, with the characters as demigods and demons is awesome enough to make me want to go back and read it all over
