why does she jump off the bridge at the beginning? do they even attempt to explain the basic beginning of this show? literally none of this seems like it was well thought out or well written to me.

I love it too, couldn't have enough space to fully comment on it in the review, but I think it's lighthearted and playful. It makes the darker parts of the album darker, but it doesn't read as insincere or unlistenable to me.

Mafia! has my favorite fart joke of all time in it. "Hey - I had a hat!"

I registered with A.V. Club just to post this comment: this show made my childhood, and was re-watched from teenage years transitioning into adult years via the internet. I miss it dearly, and I loved this article.
