Did we ever see what happened with Harald Karstark?

Tangentially related: Does anyone else feel like there needs to be an explanation whenever someone claims to be such a huge fan of a team without an evident connection? Okay, "needs to be" is too much and should only apply to possible bandwagon fans, but at the very least I find it interesting to hear the (typically

Completely agree with this take. A Lo-Fi version of "Til I Met Thee" just wouldn't be as fun to listen to.

I mean, it'd be great if there was some playing along by Viserys to account for Dany actually being born in and smuggled out of Dorne, would account for a lot of his hostility towards her.

Completely ignored her.

But are you a bastard?

Predictions this week:

About half of Preston Jacobs' theories are just coked up insanity (the two videos highlighted at The Concourse are perfect examples, as well as the "Genetics of Dragons" series and his belief in Euron = Daario). He's been known to just make an assumption and run with it.

Worth noting that the only polls that really matter are 50 state polls, not one national one. Thanks, electoral college!

"he “didn’t want anybody else writing music for Daisy Ridley.”"

Dewar's Scotch, IIRC

I think this was pointed out elsewhere, but the soccer writers on Screamer are the same way. SUPER salty about people who rip on them (ironic, given what all Gawker blogs do for a living), and I'm pretty sure I've been banned there with my current username for repeating a (admittedly, tired and old) joke making fun

He banned my original username on Deadspin for disagreeing with his take on a Richard Sherman article.

All of their Bill Simmons bitterness pales in comparison to their hatred of soccer in America.

Might be a silver lining if Deadspin and io9 have to go.

And here I thought that "The Winds of Winter" was a reference to Grand Maester Pycelle farting every time Ser Gregor's undead corpse enters the room.

The BwB had a change in purpose in the books as well, but this one seems a lot more sinister. I'm curious to see where this goes, as I'll have a hard time believing that the show is going the same route.

I feel like he already told this story on another talk show, but I'm not sure which one. Maybe Conan?
