I outgrew a lot of the heavier music I was listening to in my teens and part of my college years.

It's not a popular opinion amongst GBV fans, but IMO the lofi aesthetic just hides how good the songs could be. Glad Girls and Skills Like This aren't the best songs they've done, but they're the ones that are the most enjoyable to listen to.
