Can't stop, won't stop… Hodoring.

This was also my first thought when I saw that argument.

It looks like they are continuing to turn every single little scene into a big giant goofy action scene that makes the raft in Temple of Doom feel like realism.

I don't know, I could maybe buy the argument that it's a little inconsistent.  My favorite songs on that record are fantastic and a lot of fun, but the weaker songs just do nothing for me.

I don't care if I'm ripping off Gaiman by saying it, I don't think he owes it to anyone and the only person's terms he should use to finish it are his own.

On one hand:  yes, please do.

Vanna White.  I was 2 years old.

This is the Shyamalan movie where we finally find out what happened to the bees, right?

I have to admit that, after all this time, I still find Shyamalan to be a very effective director, but an increasingly terrible writer.  Although I avoided The Last Airbender, I still found his worst films (from The Village to The Happening) to still be interesting to look at.

"What could be less exciting and less cinematic than three hapless dudes spending an entire movie being told about the mischief they got into the night before? "

At first, I didn't realize I had clicked into the newbie review.

Which puts him at, what, 20% done?  25% done?

No way the books end before the TV show.  Not a chance.

Agreed.

I probably should've found this before posting my thoughts on the Jim/Pam resolution as it's own thread.

I'm just as surprised that the show barely gave lip service to the fact that Jim doing all of that stuff without bothering to tell Pam was a real dick move.

Yeah, but he'd just end up recasting Q so he can put Michael Caine in the movie.

TL:DR

"but there was enough fan service and closure here to leave me satisfied."

Maybe this question has already been asked, but I don't have enough time at work to look through four pages of comments to find out:
