Does writing Natural Born Killers make it count as a Tarantino movie instead of an Oliver Stone Movie?  I'm with you on Jackie Brown—just re-watched it a few weeks ago & it is bad-ass.

Born in '70, here.  Most of the movies on the list so far that I've seen I saw in the theater (& many of those I've seen only that once).

There's just so damn much killer dialog & so many great scenes in that movie, I'd be hard pressed to pick one favorite.  Maybe Tom's confrontation with Verna in the ladies' at the club (bonus: Albert Finney briefly in drag!).

I wouldn't even say his career has been uneven—he's made a LOT more good-to-great movies than clunkers.

Nope.  No debate.  Full Metal Jacket is Kubrick's best.
Glad I could straighten that out for ya.

Tell Leo he's not God on the throne, he's just a cheap political boss with more hair tonic than brains.

I agree, @avclub-9c75bab0f5d964591655e73e7c22c540:disqus ,  though to be fair, I've still only seen Lebowski once (& Fargo, too, come to think of it).  But it's the one I've re-watched the most, even more than Raising Arizona, which was my intro to the Coens.

You really need to see Miller's Crossing, KT—it's fucking fantastic.  Not sure it's my favorite Coens flick, but it does have the best dialog, IMO.

True, but still not a top-50-of-the-decade flick.
