Oh no, don't misunderstand, @avclub-735dd629ab696e3a1bfcc0fe0d687bb1:disqus—I was born in 1970.  EVERYbody was into dinosaurs in the '70s.  But there's a world of difference between pictures of dinos in books & what we saw in Jurassic Park.

The problem with Yoda is we already knew what he looked like from Empire, so when he showed up in the prequels, he looked weird to us.  But with the JP dinos, we'd never seen anything like it before.

It's also well written with some terrific dialog.

Not "one of", @avclub-6937c2c2b618e234ef484fed0ed90a9d:disqus —it was THE first PG-13 movie.  Luckily for me, I was already 13 (14, actually) when it came out.

I've never been 100% sure I'm hearing it right, even.  The site I checked (Lyrics Time, fwiw, but I find every lyrics site has the exact same stuff, mistakes & all) had "And you won't see me out there advertising", which is maybe a bit better grammatically but clearly isn't what he's saying.  When I first heard

You know, I have to say that I find the man himself pretty funny.  I thoroughly enjoyed his appearance on the Nerdist podcast.  But I still don't find his movies very funny.  They're OK, but not truly hilarious to me.  I liked his SNL work better.
